Let's Introduce Ourselves...

I noticed there isn't anywhere on here to introduce ourselves to each other. Maybe some of you guys know each other from other sites, but as I'm new to the Cloverfield fandom[?], I thought it would be cool to know a bit more about the rest of you guys. So thought I'd start this thread off if that's okay [feel free to close it if you think it's inappropriate].

About Me
I'm a 32 year old freelance website designer from Australia. I'm mainly a fan of fantasy and sci-fi series and movies. My favorite shows include Lost, Heroes, Stargate SG-1, Star Trek and many others. My other interest is video games, particularly RPGs. My favorite series of all time is the Final Fantasy series, in particular Final Fantasy VII. I run a series of fan-sites dedicated to this game [and it's off-shoots] which take up most of my time when I'm not working or the like.

New to Cloverfield
Unlike maybe a lot of you, I'm new to the 'mystery of Cloverfield' so to speak. All I had seen was a couple of the trailers which my brother showed me and thought that it looked pretty awesome. I kind of hoped it wouldn't be a Godzilla remake. Up until the day before when my partner asked me if I wanted to see it on opening day, I really wasn't sure whether I wanted to go or not. I ended up coming out of the movie more impressed than I have been over a movie for a long time, and as a result have developed somewhat of an obsession over it. I am somewhat dissapointed I missed out on being able to investigate all of the clues that were part of the viral marketing campaign, so I feel I might have missed out on a lot of stuff and plan to go back and see what I can find out. But as a result, please bear with me if I have questions or aren't aware of something.

How I I found this site
Nothing special. I followed a link posted at the Live Journal community 011808, but I am new there as well. But I figured it might be a good question to ask others how they found this site as well.

I look forward to getting to know some of you guys!

Bio:
I spent most of my time on the internet, playing videogames and watching movies. My fave movies are Cloverfield, 300, Transformers, Saw quadrilogy and the X-Men trilogy. My favourite games are Heavenly Sword (hence the nickname and fansite I made), FFVIII, FFX-2 and Tomb Raider Legend and Anniversary. I also watch some anime, like Claymore, Ergo Proxy, Fate/Stay Night and Zombie Loan. Oh and I'm 19 years old, from the Netherlands and I absolutely LOVE Cloverfield! ^^

This thread won't be closed, because it's appropriate. I was actually going to stickie one, but never got around to it.

Anyway, I actually run Projectcloverfield.com and have been since July '06. I've read through most of the garbage that's been put out, been slapped with a Cease and Desist from Paramount, and of course, been pummeled with spam on the blog. :3

Otherwise, about me? I'm a twenty-something lass from Chicago. I'm a freelance webdesigner, and I run my own hosting company. Essentially I drown myself in code and support tickets on a daily basis, only to turn around, sit on my other chair, and play Halo 3 until I pass out.

Lovely life really.

hey ppl im monstermash i dont really want 2 say my real name but i live in florida about 1 or 2 hours from tampa i saw cloverfeild opening day and luved it then saw it again with some1 else umm i dont use punctuation ever im i have lot of question ive reaserched alot but unfortunatly my theorie has flaws and i look forward to developing one big theorie with yall i play GH3 alot i got it 4 christmas and im about 1/3rd the way through the hard career i have a 360 and a wii i play just about enything 4 the 360 about clover im really intrested in seeing if lost has a connection but i dont watch it that much so plz bare with my and fill free to correct me if i have anny false info an anything

Alright, I'm game.

Cloverfield related: Ever since I went to see Transformers and saw that first trailer, I've been hooked on Cloverfield. I instantly dove into the internet to see what I could find. I was surprized on what I did. Becides 1-18-08.com and the Slusho! site, I lurked around some fourms and stuff untill I found myself at Project Cloverfield. I stayed around for a while, but let my interest drop for about a month. If I remember correctly I got back into the game mid October but didn't join and show myself till November. Now I find myself here because I just can't drop Cloverfield from my life.
I have a small feeling of regret that I wasn't able to help out, but I had fun along the way.

About me: I am 17 years old and live in South Georgia. I'm almost out of high school and planning on going to college. I live and work on a farm and like to play video games. Fantasy and Sci-Fi movies make up part of my movie trivia with Action flicks with the others lol. I'm also into anime and read alot of manga as well as books.

Anyways, I'll be turning 17 in March. I attend an art and design school in Milwaukee and I am a huge movie buff -- I consider good movies to be ones like Seven Samurai and 2001: A Space Odyssey. Mostly stuff from Stanley Kubrick and James Cameron. I found out about Cloverfield from my girlfriend and as soon as I delved deep into the ARG (not so deep that I'd have to throw away my life) she became uninterested, but still liked the movie. Um, I found this site a while ago, don't remember when I started contributing. Probably somewhere around the end of October. People call me Pr0 which is short for Pr0LiFiX which is derived from the word "prolific". I guess I stand by my title, lol.

ME: 35 y/o mom and nurse in AZ. LOVE Cloverfield, so does my daughter, we saw it twice (so far). I stink at games, but I try, and my daughter is good at them. We love scary movies, sci-fi and such. I love Dexter, Death Note, and assorted other shows.
I became hooked on the Virals in December, and began combing the internet for information,and saw Cloverfield on opening day.

I'm from Jersey, I was Jo on the original Project Cloverfield site (but this forum wouldn't take a 2 letter id).

Same thing: found Cloverfield after the Transformers movie teaser; and have been tied to the computer ever since. (even bought a new computer so I could see all the pics on 1-18-08 - they wouldn't load on my old one!)

Followed the ARG over in unFiction and totally enjoyed the ride.

I forgot to add one more thing about myself, I used to make lots of contributions (in terms of info) to the old Project Cloverfield site when Jarvis was updating the site with people's info. lol, that's probably why people know me so well on the site.
