General Movie Discussion Thread (GMD)

This thread is simple enough, and it's been requested many times before but never has it really seen the light of day. So I'll bring it into fruition. Here's how it goes.

* Talk about movies you're looking forward to and why they are interesting to you.
* Discuss movies in general; the history of movies, filmography etc.
* Keep it clean; no fanboyish comments and post quality material, not spam.
* If you are posting pictures, do not use [IMG] brackets since they will stretch the page to unbearable tolerance. No one likes to constantly scroll left and right all of the damn time. Just post the link, since it will automatically link the user to a different browser tab, instead of a window.
* Don't forgot to keep it alive, since you guys are the ones requesting it.

Anyways, I am looking forward to the following movies this year:

The Dark Knight
The Hulk
Wanted
[REC] (well, I'm going to try and get it on Blu-Ray, if possible)

There are many other movies on my mind, but I can't list them all at the moment. So hope this thread helps. No need to thank me for taking the initiative. It's no biggie, really. I'm just here to help.

How about : "OUTLANDER" a new film that's been in production for quite some time will soon be released here in the U.S.. It features the story of an alien that crash lands on earth in the time of the Vikings. However, that alien is not alone, with him arrives a giant evil creature known as the 'Moorwen'. He then must join forces with the Vikings in order to defeat this evil menace. It stars Jim Caviezel ,and features top-notch spfx. The creature was designed by Patrick Tatopoulos[Godzilla] and looks freaking awesome!! Movie looks cool Avery. Me, i'm going for the Dark Knight! The sequel for "Batman Begins". Not because i "fell in love" with heath ledger when he commited OverDose suicide like some others have...but because it looks freakin awsome and because i loved Batman Begins xD

It does look really great and I've been looking forward to it since before his death. I've always liked his acting and 'Bat Man' is just bad-ass!! I really like kaiju[giant monster] movies like 'Cloverfield' mainly, but I like mainstream entertainment as well. Here's another one I'm very excited about: The "X-From Outer Space"[1967] returns!! It's called: "THE MONSTER X STRIKES BACK: ATTACK THE G8 SUMMIT". By now you've probably heard about this new film.It's a very exciting revival of the classic kaiju by comic director Minoru Kawasaki.
