Cool 1998 Godzilla info
I had personally loved this monster, about as much as Clover. Here is a neat info on the 1998 Godzilla from the Cinefex book number 74 page 86: "Toho sent word that if the technology had been avaible to design the creature in such a manner back then, their Godzilla would have probably resembled the creature we came up with. Dollar and technology limitations forced them to go with a man in a suit, but it waasn't what they wanted-it was a matter of praticallity." This proves that Toho wanted something like the American Godzilla look, but couldn't do it back in 1954. The American Godzilla from the cartoon series has Japanese Godzilla traits like regeneration, high intelligence, and Atomic Breath plus 1998 movie Godzilla abilities. American Godzilla from the cartoon series is more of, in my view, what toho wanted for their godzilla. I am a fan of Clover and of the 1998 Godzilla. I came from the "CloverfieldMovieForum" website under the same name. Neat 1998 Godzilla info: Toho originally wanted their Godzilla to resemble something like the 1998 Godzilla. Source-Cinefex Book, number 74. | ||||
