I know I said I was leaving, mostly to try and update my new blog. Even though I made the blog perfect, I thought I owed it to you guys to present you something really awesome. Well, guess what? Remember how we all loved the Cloverfield "Roar!!" overture music that was played at the credits of the film (composed by Michael Giacchino) and how it just gripped the monster theme for Cloverfield? Hell, I FREAKING FOUND THE ENTIRE SONG ON YOUTUBE!!! This one is recorded without any other noise interference so you can hear only the song. I wish there was an mp3 download for Roar!! but alas to no avail. Until then, listen to the this music while surfing the web or blogging or whatever it is you do. The music is great -- calm, dramatic, sad, intense, a great piece by Michael Giacchino...

They had announced an iTunes download a few weeks ago but that never happened.

You are my god! I've got that song stuck in my head, now I can just go and listen to it over and over! XD

I wish the official one would get released. It'd be on repeat in my playlist all of the time.

Only trouble is it has some crackles in it, as the guy said his hand was getting sore from holding down the record button. But at least I can play it offline and that now.

I noticed the guy on YouTube also said he's got the MP3 of it, but not sure whether to release it yet. Hopefully he does, as his version is better overall.
