There was an image that some noticed to have a similar station logo from Lost on the government editing intro screen to Cloverfield. I personally did not see the logo in the movie when I saw Cloverfield and was wondering if anyone else had seen it. I haven't, so it's just another photoshop gig.

Oddly enough, it can be found on the Lost ARG http://www.Find815.com
I don't remember exactly, but I distinctly remember seeing something in the location.

Chances are that it's an Easter egg, and not so much hinting towards relation to Lost.

Easter. Egg.
I thought they said before that there aren't any connections with Lost in Cloverfield. In any case, it's weird to place a Dharma logo just like that. If I would like to place a Lost logo in something, I'll try to put one of the companies related to the Hanso Foundation, any of them that could be similar to it. For instance, Paik Heavy Industries could be a great tie in for Tagruato (even though they're korean). That Dharma logo just doesn't seem right. Besides, that one obviously is the logo for the Pearl Station.
Most likely just cross-advertising campaign for both Lost and Cloverfield.

No, it's not really weird. PIXAR has been doing this for years with their films. If you've watched some of them, you'll see that each movie has an easter egg which features something from another movie.

I just see the Dharma symbol in the movie as an easter egg--considering it's the same production company.

wow you guys really figured it was nothing i thought that it there was a connection but i dont really watch lost that much so i cant really say anything but i heard somewhere that some guy had a last name of macyntier and so does elizibeth i think it was the owner of the hanso foiundation im not really filled in on exactly what hanso is but
A lot of people are saying the dharma logo was photoshopped onto the picture. I kinda believe them because I never saw it during the intro to the movie. Tongue

The next time I see a Pixar movie, I'm gonna pay attention to it.
BTW, I haven't seen the movie yet, the premiere in my country is this friday, so I'll watch closely looking for the Dharma Logo.

(And of course, I'll make a review)

Honestly, you're going to have a hard time really noticing them because they all blend so well within each other. Your best bet is to go ahead and google for some of them, just before you see the movie, so you can catch it. Otherwise you're going to end up forgetting about the easter egg once you get into the movie.

However, I do know that Monsters, Inc features an easter egg from Toy Story. :o)
Would you believe last night I had a dream about this? About the logo and stuff? Maybe it was because I read this before going to sleep, but it was really crazy. I remember that the logo wasn't the Dharma, but something similar to a cartoon globe (rectangular, and plain white) and it was sorrounded by an octagon.

... OK, that was nuts... 2 more days until Cloverfield @_@
