Special thanks to Adam Fendlmen from HollywoodChicago for e-mailing me this first!
Paramount has released 25 new production stills and a new movie summary.
The new movie summary:
On the eve of his departure for Japan, Rob (Michael Stahl-David) sees his going-away party as an opportunity to confess unresolved feelings and tie up loose ends. His agenda takes an unexpected turn when a jolt shakes the revelers. The crowd quiets down to watch news reports of an earthquake, then rushes to the roof to assess the damage. A fireball explodes on the distant horizon. A power failure follows. Confusion gives way to panic as the partygoers stumble through the blackout and into the streets. Amid the human screams and one inhuman roar, Rob and his friends must traverse a landscape that has changed, overtaken by something otherworldly, terrifying, monstrous…

Tagruato also had an update in the headline section. “Kaitei No Mitsu” or Seabed’s Nectar, was approved by the “AFA” for sale in the US.
This is just a snippet of the update:
Tagruato can now proceed with their extensive American campaign for bringing Slusho! to the western world. In addition to the creation of three Western-only flavors, Slusho! representatives claim that many other surprises are in store for their new audience.

We are a week away. I guess if there were going to be an actual product (used for maketing) called Slusho, it would be out already. Correct?
i’m guessing the the frozen pepsi machine at the theatre will have a slusho sign on it, and the cups will say slusho!.
Wouldn’t they have done that already to hype this movie up more?
yeah i agree with pual, theyve already pushed this movie past the danger zone with hype. the last thing they need is another marketing ploy like making real slusho. i think as it is a lot of people are going to walk out of that theather disappionted next week, just because god forbid, it didnt live up to their unrealistic expetations
oh yes and those production stills own
!! look! the picture of the la dos chicas in the picture looking up are like the picture of the two girls looking up on 1-18-08.com. this is probably already been said.
Slusho is coming to the western world?!?! JOY OH JOY! Now I can finally prove to Hannah, Ellie and Kev-Bo that Slusho shall exist! :D :D :D
~Soul Eater Zera, MAJOR Slusho Fan
Finally, now all of those religious zealots on youtube can finally shut their mouths up since the actual 1-18-08 photo on the teaser site has been proven to not show the mini-monster. It was just hair, I swear to god! IT WAS HAIR! CloverfieldClues got it first…again.
Actually, I believe it was that NightOwl dude on YouTube that debunked the demon/hair first. I could be wrong.
Not only that, [Spoiler] but the monster actually comes from hell. There is a small interlude where Rob and crew actually see Satan send the monster up through a crack in the earth.
Hud got it all on video, ’cause you know, everyone is going to want to know how it all went down………..or they could turn on CNN. lol
I fucking hope you were joking (insomnia kicking in again). :D
Yeah, I’m joking.
Hey, even though I didn’t like it, I really want you all to enjoy it. I don’t want anyone else that has put in as much time on this thing as we have, to be disappointed.
i was looking at movie trailers and i saw this one called monster for this year and if you look at this trailer its almost an exact copy of cloverfield. has anybody else seen this trailer?
I haven’t, do you have a URL or at least a keyword to look for in Youtube?
I’ve heard of that movie. Some people from Japan are basically ripping the idea off of Cloverfield, and that movie “Monster” (it was called Tokyo, actually) has been reported a couple months back. I’m curious to see how the Japanese are doing their take on the real-time monster themed movie, other than another generic Godzilla movie.

Here’s the “monster” trailer. I wouldn’t mind watching it, it can’t be any worse. Heck, it might be better because it looks like it might be as campy.
But on purpose. lol

There’s a line in the trailer where someone is yelling the girls name over and over, and is very similar to a line in C’field……..”Hud! Hud! Hud! Huuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhd! Run. Hud!”
I think that this movie may be so bad that it could start a cult following because of it’s “badness”. lol You know, like Toxic Avenger or other Troma and Troma type of movies.
Has anyone seen the trailer for “Teeth” yet? Now THAT is a movie I want to see! Check it out…..
