Long Time No Post

So I see that Jarvis has been harassing PC with way too many updates. For the abundance I apologize. :P
Regardless, I can’t believe that the movie is finally just a week away. Actually, I can believe it. I’ve stayed as far away from the Cloverfield muck as much as humanly possible. Anyway, a bunch of my friends (Halo 3 Clan buddies to be exact) are going to see this movie on Friday, except I won’t be in the Chicago area. I’m actually flying out to Wichita, KS this weekend :P
So I’ll be in somewhere in Wichita when I go see this movie. And honestly, I’m not sure what to think of the movie right now. Every single theatrical trailer I have seen for the movie has made me laugh my ass off because of it’s pure suckage. I surely hope I’m not the only one that was dissuaded in seeing this movie because of the godawful trailer(s) put out.
I’m just not sure if I’m going to like this movie, and of course there are two other things. 1.) I’m going to be pissed if it sucks, 2.) There really won’t be a need for projectcloverfield.com. How sad is that?
Anyway, I want this week to be a quiet week leading up to the movie, so Jarvis, if you don’t see your million posts a day being added, you know why.

ah jordan, don’t dog on jarvis…he’s been doing a fine job, its actually been nice/helpful to see the new info in posts like this, w/ comments on each post that are about that post.
as for the movie…i’ve decided i’m taking the little people (8 & 10)…hopefully i wont have to explain to stoopid (their mother) why they wont sleep at night anymore.
i for one, would like to welcome our new parasite overlords…all your base are mine.
Well, I suppose I wouldn’t mind if he didn’t post 335456 per day. And it doesn’t help the anal designer in me that some of the formatting is godawful. But it’s just a minor complaint.
He has done a good job, but my site means I rule.
Jarvis is going to be pissed. If this movie sucks, I am going to be pissed. OSJK’s wife is going to be pissed.
Which is why I plan on being drunk while I go see the movie. That way if it sucks, at least I’m drunk.

In the other hand, I guess it could be more efficient if the updates are grouped in a single post or something. After all, post editing is an available option. I don’t know. It’s okay because I find out about the updates just by reading the RSS (although last post on Rob’s MySpace was delayed from being posted on PC like 1 or 2 days), but it’s easy to loose track of the things we’re following.
Oh, I’m sorry for the double posting, but I forgot to say that in my country, Cloverfield will be in theaters by February 2nd, so I will take a free time from this site when hits January 18th, I don’t want spoilers in any form =S

I’m just really….surprised…and feel insulted.
updates are coming up everyday, nearly every hour. I have communicated with various owners of various other cloverfield blogs and we all email eachother about the news…hence me stayin on top of things, never the less of all my school and homework, hence the large amounts of updates….CLOVERFIELD IS NOT HOW IT USED TO BE IN THE DEPRESSION DAYS OF SEPTEMBER / OCTOBER, where so little updates came up…we HAD to talk non stop on a single update….
guys, Jordan…i can do this 3 ways….one massive post at the end of the day in which lots of news and updates is combined, which, in my oppinion will be little different than lots of little posts……but jordan its your site so you “rule”….
2) i can keep going the same way but forget about some of the updates like interviews and only post on the “ARG game”………Jordan if you want me to do this you will need to change the website tags from “bringing all the news and updates on the cloverfield movie” or w/e, to just the game of cloverfield.
3) leave this site.

LOL. Why are you so butthurt over my opinion? I don’t like being bombarded with 40 different things in a single day, every single day. Thus why I stated what I did.
Some of the stuff being posted, could’ve been left out. I thank you for posting a lot, I do.. But the amount of people chiming in on posts is limited. Why post one post #44 when there’s already post #45-50. Not only that but I’ve noticed a severe dip on visits per day, when they’re bombarded with way too many updates.
It just makes it hard for viewers to focus on something, when there’s 10 more things to look at.. and that’s assuming they keep up on a daily basis.
If you want to leave the site because you’re butthurt over something I said, then go ahead and do so. The movie comes out in a week, so it’s not like there’s going to be much more happening here after that.
If you have interviews you find, don’t post the entire content. Just create a post with several links to interviews; Maybe perhaps just include a SNIPPET so that users can be enticed to visit the link.

Jordan, i’m not butthurt. Just a bit insulted, like i said. But you could have easily e-mailed me about my abundance of posts, maybe sooner if you stuck with your own site and possibly overlooked it better to notice record my abundance of posts. This is not an attack, just a suggestion.
Honestly, with the amount of Cloverfield updates…how can we concentrate? The clues are unraveling themselves now…there is no need to google search and clue dig right now because of the abundance of updates and anwsers that will be released the next day.

Jordan….tell me what i am supposed to post and how i am supposed to do it…..i dont want to leave this site, i’ve worked long and hard to keep it updated and i grown to known the people on this site, i dont want to leave just as the movie comes out, you never know, something other could happen.
Honestly Jordan, the Cloverfield craze has ended, look at the Chuai Station video’s….if 2 months ago that was released that would have been HUGE! Now, it was just a rock in a group of pebbles….just another update….i did not do this….this was Cloverfield marketing….they made the updates more un important.

OSJK - I couldn’t handle that fucking dark layout anymore. It seriously was just annoying the crap out of me. Reading light text on a dark background = nightmare.
Jarvis, go ahead and post, just make sure you that if it’s going to be a long entry, to put it behind the “MORE” tag on Wordpress. That way the whole entry is NOT on the frontpage. This will help keep the front page clear of clutter too.

oh, but at 51 seconds of the italian version of the chaui station news report, there’s a guy walking in the background thats the same as whats on tidowaves site. man seen turned at about 60 degree’s away, walking away…they are interviewing somebody at that time, could by at taguarato

BTW, the “Poor Jarvis =(” thing I said was sarcasm. As I already said, it’s okay because there was a lot of updates, but anybody could easily loose track. I can’t really complain because I don’t post here a lot (even though I read it everyday), but it’s something I noticed. Pool’s closed.
In another subject, this design is freshier than the previous one. Even though is quite simplistic, the upper blue bar looks nice. My only suggestiong would be that the entry title should be a little bolder.
At approximately 10 seconds into the trailer I believe you can see the Monster’s shoe around the side of the building, perhaps Nike or maybe Adidas…

Anyways, I actually like the new look, but you could’ve made it a little more obvious of when the topic ends or begins. I would also like to add that if anyone should argue with Jarvis, IT SHOULD BE ME! and that if you actually don’t like the way Jarvis posts, you’ve had plenty of time to stop him, Jarvis. For the record, I probably won’t be on this site as much, because the traffic has been down lately and my life has lots of other things on my mind (like parties with my friends and schoolwork etc.) so I will try to catch some updates when I have the time.

Forget that small passing the building shoulder/back/butt/.345 second view of the beast. It pales in comparison to what the creature looks like.
Even though we never get a good view of it, you do see some decent shots of it. We’ll have to wait for the dvd to get a really good view of the monster.
