Robs real life party!

The Cloverfield Myspace issued a bullitin that invites real people (you, me, whoever) to Rob’s “Going away party”!
Here is what the bullitin said:
Come to Rob’s Surprise Party in New York next week!
Join us next Thursday night, January 17th for a send off for our buddy Rob, he’s moving to Japan! There will be drinking, dancing, and tons of cool people. It will be a party to remember!
We’re randomly picking 200 people who RSVP to join us for a big Cloverfield celebration in the Lower East Side. It is going to be a blast!
RSVP to robsparty@cloverfieldmovie.com - make sure to include your FULL NAME and a PHONE NUMBER that we can reach you at. We will let you know if you have been chosen via telephone.

Crap… I turn 18 on the 18th…. one day late for a chance at the party. Oh well, I’m making a day out of friday though, skipping school, taking off from work… and catching the first screening of Cloverfield. Ohhhh yeahhh… :)
I took a half day on Friday. I may take a full day and head to nyc. Probably not, but I may.
anybody else wonder if the “cruel-itan board” items don’t get updated? there’s (3) fun facts about tagruato, but i don’t think they’ve ever changed.
i’m still perplexed about the way “swiss army knife” is on the page as an HTML link, but it doesn’t link anywhere…are swiss army knives special? role ur mouse over it, it’ll change to a hand…doesn’t for any of the other items though.
Uhhhh, yeah they’re special.

I would go to the party, but there’s no way I am gonna get to NYC in time and even if I was able, I still have this fear that NYC actually will be attacked by a monster on that fateful midnight, lol.
It’d be really funny if no one showed up. Matt Reeves and JJ would be at the party, with JJ wearing a party hat and clown shoes and Matt Reeves whispers into JJ’s ear and says, “I think you took this viral marketing too far, Mr. Abrams.” XD
