I would like to thank the person who sent this in, whoever you are, i guess i’ll call you John Doe, THANKS JOHN DOE!
And here is the picture he / she sent in:

Using a lighting tint tool and tweaking the clouds of the original Cloverfield poster, this John Doe creates a dark new cloverfield poster :-O

Whoa — holy shit, there are demonic faces on the poster!
I just noticed….
top-left corner: a skull
top-middle (a little to the left): shark-like monster yawning
bottom-right: looks like a skull is about to eat that building.
This guy is good.
Did you eat acid? I don’t see any of that.
I see some of it, but probably only because I want to. Top-down processing at work.
I really don’t see much of a difference between this and the original poster. I’m also surprised that Jordan found this worthy of a front page posting. Can we just get a section of the site for this stuff entirely? Please?
Cool coincidence: Last night I watched a Prison Break episode called “John Doe;” This series stars Dominic Purcell, who was once the main character in a show called… John Doe.
@ Tony: Jordan has allowed me to put posts on the front page - this was my decision.
- Why does it hurt you so much to put fan art work on the front page?
On a side note……. something funny.
if you go to cloverfield’s myspace page and read some comments, and then read the comments on their video page……… there are so many newbies still asking if this is Rampage the movie or a Godzilla remake.
haha. made me laugh
is everyone stuck at work today (all day) like I am?
‘Fraid not, Paul. Jarvis and I started break off with a half day on Wednesday… which, to a lot of people here, seemed way too late.
About my not liking fan art: Jarvis and I were talking about this on msn earlier. I figure the fan art is OOG, and in all honesty, I wasn’t that entertained by the art. I mean, it’s a section of the poster zoomed in, and tinted slightly. Anyone with photo editing software can do that.
Jarvis is of the opinion that since the release of the second trailer, the game has ended. (Couldn’t they be taking xmas off? heh)
Chew on that all.
yeah, paul, i’m here…for another 15 FUKING MINUTES!!!!
I also believe the game has ended. I mean, once we start seeing TV Spots and advertisements moving to Myspace and Facebook, Cloverfield’s not really a secret movie, anymore. Still, it’s been a fun ride for all of us.
Anyways, I’m gonna take a break from this site — see ya guys, later.
