Hey, in the first picture, the Woolworth Building isn’t that far from the explosion and harbor where the tanker overturned. Anyone else notice this? I can’t wait to see this movie! AAAAAAAUUUGHHHH!!!!

IGN has an interview up with Director Matt Reeves about the film, Reeves said that everybody will be shocked to see what the monster is and wont expect it to be what it is. He didnt give to much away and talked in a secrecy sort of way but if you read the interview maybe you can pull more away from it than i can.

They stopped pixilating the army mans face.
what was the deal w/ the army dude? i noticed they don’t pixilate it anymore, but the clip of him is shorter, and he doesn’t get the chance to turn his head as far
It’s the government! They don’t want us to know what happened!
In fact, they will boycott this movie because we kept talking about the guy’s face being pixilated thus making it sound like a conspiracy where the army might be in on it, like some crazy religious zealot who wants to expose the truth about everything…

BTW, who did the musical score for the trailer?
Well with the pixalated soldier it is my oppinion that the tape / video from the camera was reviewed by the government / US army and state, hence the soldier’s identity hidden.

i wondered if the actor playing that guy was either high profile (cameo) or somebody w/ really loose lips, and they were afraid if he was recognized he’s spill the beans
I always thought it was a cameo. Maybe Ryan Howard, or that guy from the show The Unit that looks like Ryan Howard.
That was a quick one. And it’s finaly started to sound like a movie lol. Nothing like that movie annoucer guy to get your blood pumping.

for some reason, when I saw the blurred out soldier guy, i thought it was Michael Clarke Duncan and they didn’t wanna show his face because people would either be asking him crazy questions about the movie, or something along those lines… I’m gonna look at it again right now…
i don’t think its duncan, he’s 6′5″ & over 300 lbs, little bit bigger than that soldier.
the dude from the unit is dennis haysbert, and all those allstate commercials.
