Well Cloverfield is now appearing on television sets around the world.

Announcer: Some Thing Has Found Us
Lily: What is that?
Announcer: January 18th
Hawk: You don’t know what we saw! The point is, it’s still here.
Announcer: One you’ve seen it, nothing will be the same
Lily: Do you know what that thing is?
Soldier: Whatever it is, it’s winning
Announcer: From producer JJ Abrams
Woman: Bite! We have a bite!
Rob: Where are you taking her?
Announcer: CLOVERFIELD
A couple of interesting new scenes and dialogue that are worth an analysis.

Woah, doesn’t anyone else remember that old Cloverfield article where someone saw the preview for Cloverfield and mentioned that one of the soldiers said, “Bite! We have a bite!” sometime back in the fall? It was really weird. Speaking of commercials, I was in theatres and was watching I Am Legend, and before the movie when they showed previews, there was a clip for one trailer with the Statue of Liberty overlooking NYC and then the SOL was highlighted and the announcer went, “THIS is a clue.” and I jumped outta my seat and went, “HOLY SHIT! CLOVERFIELD!” …
…
but it turns out it was a preview for National Treasure: Book of Secrets. XD
omg pr0! i did the exact same thing but without the “jumping out of seat” lol…i just shouted OMG!! to my friend….then i saw Nicholas cage….and….and….*tears*…
lol, it was funny because when the announcer said, “THIS is a clue” I thought Matt Reeves was making fun of how intense the viral marketing has become. But, yeah, I knew it wasn’t Cloverfield when that horrible actor appeared on the screen.

I didn’t see that trailer. I did see the new batman trailer. That was awesome. The joker looks sick.
Jarvis, I think I remember that. First time I saw the trailer for I Am Legend, that was my reaction.
Can we get a higher quality vid for this commercial? good transcript, tho, i get the picture.
No, no, it was the trailer for Book of Secrets; the movie (that I went to watch) was I Am Legend. I just remember seeing the SOL highlighted and the announcer going, “THIS is a clue.” and I bet you everyone in the movie theatre saw my reaction.
