Notice the 3 claw like marks on the girls arm in pic 9.
Just like im the poster of the statue of liberty, below the torn of party “where the head should be” you see 3 long massive claw marks….Safe to say the monster has 3 talons?
Also, speculations for pics, 3,4,5. She;s bleading profusely, looks like she’s coughing and is being held by biohazard suite guys…does this mean the “infected” theorie could be true…where somehow people become infected and mutate / die?
hmmm. the pictures seem to have gone down…
bandwith issues on their part?
With picture 5, does anyone get the sense that she’s being taken away with BH dudes because she’s infected? It just kind of reminded me of ET, when BH dudes came into play and took away the boy.
Perhaps the possibility behind a 2nd one, assuming that was some wild rumor.
are they bringing her in? or hauling her away?
Does anyone, other than me, think that there might not be humans in the biohazard suits? I’d think if there was some type of infection that warranted the suits, everyone should have them on. That infected chick could spit or throw blood and infect others, so I just find it odd there are only a limited few in the suits. Also look at the faces of the suits that you can see somewhat. While it could be sometype of apparatus that people are wearing to help them breathe, it just looks really wierd to me.
yup…*sigh* pics have been taken down….I’ll wait till tomorow lunch time and if the websites bandwith crap hasnt sorted itself out, i’ll find some more :)
@Scott - Looks like breathing masks to me.
In regards to noone else wearing the BH suits, it’s quite simple really. If you’ve already been “exposed” no sense in wearing the suit. If you haven’t been exposed, then that’s why you wear it–so you don’t get that exposure.
Simple concept really.
Jordan, makes some sense, but there are all the military people and a doctor (I’m guessing since he has a stethoscope) that I would think would also want those suits on if in the same room with something potentially lethal. Ahhh…..I’m going to lose sleep thinking about this movie:)

These shots are very bright and extremely well lit for being “shot” on a hand cam, lol. Not only that, but which military/cdc/medical unit would let some douche bags record inside their facility? Oh, that’s right, none!
Anyway, great pics. It’s getting closer. It will be January before we know it.

Ever seen a “making of” special feature on some movie and show the set and the actors acting? Well, everything looks a whole lot more fake, brighter, darker…w/e…It wont look like that in the movie gurantee’d :D
Also, that army guy with the rocket launcher? He could totally call for backup from the police. He’d just have to yell towards the Dunkin’ Donuts in the shot.

if i remember correctly in picture 18, wasnt there a video that showed that exact same sequence with them running to the helicopter? and somebody had posted it in the summer
Yes i thought that exact same thing Mathew…It was a supposed “spy” footage of the cloverfield movie…I cannot find the video anywhere! grrr…
But yes matt, i remember that too….its showed a group of people with army personel running from a humvee to a chopper..
Look at the 3rd picture above. look at the girls chest. is it just me or does her veins looks black and look like they are pertruding out of her chest? im not sure what this means in the movie but its kinda cool now that i noticed it.

There doesn’t seem to be any pictures with Jaime in them. Wouldn’t it be funny if she dies right away? The only one with videos before the movie, dies right in the start of the movie.

At the 1:11 Mark in the new trailer, you can see a silhouettes of two ‘people’ in Biohazard suits. It looks as if one is carelessly gutting a woman while the other holds her. Is she infected… and is the the same woman from above? The lighting in the room where the gutting is taking place is bright, like the images above. At first I thought they were monsters, but perhaps they’re just doctors trying all they can to stop an apparent infection.

She’s swelling up and about to pop as far as i can see. It’s pretty obvious since the slusho website also mentioned that dude drinking and mutating into w/e. Another argument for that would be the weird alien chest burster type sound right after she swells.

Octavian, if this Slusho!/Infection theory were to hold any truth, how would we explain all the Easterners drinking their Slusho!? Wouldn’t they have had a similar reaction?
You never can tell really Chickennoodle. I mean Slusho! could be just fine, drink it all you want! But if the monstor or the “little monstors (if theorie is true) bitt you or scratched u somehow, maybe they have a venom or sum shit which reacts with the Slusho!…..you never know… :-(
Well i can’t tell really. It’s just a theory i came up with really fast by adding some facts. It has also been mentioned a while ago that all those that had a Slusho that night were to become some kind of targets for the monster. If it’s true or not we’re only gonna find out when the movies comes out. I’m not saying i’m right Noodle. If it’s not Slusho causing that then it could be a creature that’s causing that flippery sound down in the subway.

I can’t wait to see this movie. I have been watching and reading and following this from the very beginning. I don’t think there are little monsters though. Perhaps some kind of parasite though.
http://www.cluechaser.com has a game similar to this one starting up in a couple weeks. It’s supposed to be the same kind of mystery thing where you have to find clues to solve puzzles, that kind of thing. Sounds cool.
I read that it was part of Cloverfield but the guy (or girl I suppose) running it said it ain’t. Just similar.

alrite, i figured out the editing of the trailers, about where the monster comes into play in the movie…
1) if you look at the first teaser trailer, when they go out of the building you can see a sign on the right of the street when the statue of liberty head is coming that says “The Textile…”
2) if you look at the second trailer, during the sequence of the army guys shooting at the monster, when we see the monster go by, you can see it’s the same street they came out on, with “The Text…” visible, and same pattern of buildings, empire state building, etc… in this shot no bullets or rockets whatever are being shot at him.
3)They just used that shot of the monster for the second trailer in that army sequence, but the format in the movie will be as follows…
a) they go outside and someone says “i saw it, it’s alive, it’s huge”… obviously it’s nearby, and you see the Text… as a hint of where they are
b) the statue of liberty get’s thrown down the street… and you see the Text… as a hint of where they are
* c) in the movie, the camera will pan back from the staue of liberty’s head to show the monster walking past in that shot from the second trailer… and you see the Text… as a hint of where they are
I mean this isn’t anything drastic, but as a film major who loves to anaylze details in movies, this is 99.9% accruate to me
Ok, I’m over the idea that something else other than human is in the BH suits. I do have a question, has anyone discussed picture number 9? Where the two of them look like they are trying to hold the door shut and keep something out? Makes one think there are smaller creatures on the loose. Sorry if this has been brought up already.
Maybe they are trying to keep out infected zombie like person. I don’t think I would like that very much.
I think that picture is a clue that there is something smaller that is out to get them, be it the military to quarantine, or small creatures/infected beings, I don’t think they’d be holding the door like that for a big huge monster. Now I’m just wondering what, if anything, is on the other side of the door.
You never know…Could be Hud…Beth…any character thats been “infected” ?
They could simply just be closing the door because a big blast of fire is coming down the corridor?
Little parasite monsters are there ofcourse?
A Soldier is pushing against the otherside?
We do not see the very bottom of the picture, so maybe water is gushing in from broken water main, and there trying to shut the door?
His high holiness the spaghetti monster is lurking around with his noodalie appendages?

Unless someone / thing decisive tells us….we can only speculate their are parasites / little monsters or things “on the other side of the DOOOORRR!!!” LOL…
After looking at what Sean said, it is true, the part where it shows the monster passing by in the trailer is in the same location where in the teaser the statue of liberty’s head is flying off, therefore in one point of the movie, the army will move in on the street where they are at in the teaser and start shooting at the monster…
the 13th picture is seen in the trailer after Rob and the girl run down the stairs and the camera is on the floor and Rob runs to the camera guy to help him up, that clip takes place where the 13th picture is taken.
one more thing, i was bored and was comparing the teaser to the trailer, the statue of liberty’s head looks completely different in the teaser and trailer, you can tell that the head is better made in the trailer, it looks much more realistic then the one in the teaser that looked more solid and unreal…. just look at both of them, you can tell the difference… :D
one more thing, sorry, i know yall have probably noticed this, but just to make sure, the 1st picture is how the trailer first starts with Rob talking into the camera
so we know that 7 hrs (as he said in the trailer) after the monster attacks the city, the guy holding the camera (rob i think?) and the girl sitting next to him on the first picture are both alive and havent died…. and are for the first time describing what is happening to New York to the camera…
BUT… what happened to the other people he was with?
they died….lol (i bet).
Does anyone remember the post on one of the clue sights about someone getting a glimpse of the filming of the last scene in central park. These pictures confirm alot of what that post said about the two characters sitting under the bridge in central park, the color of the bridge and bricks, and them talking into the camera. I think this was one of the posts that paramount took issue with as well with a cease and desist order. I could be mistaken though. But do we remember that in that post the person who shot the pics said they could hear the dialogue of the actors and one of them saying that “One of them is above us” or something like that and then the bridge comes crashing down on the characters. Points to some sort of smaller monster/parasite conclusion to me. Toughts? Sorry if this has already been discussed.
And I think everyone dies at the end of this one. At least I hope. That would make it alot more realistic instead of some miracle idea or hero coming in and saving averyone. If this monster ends up being killed by some stupid human virus or Bruce Wilis Im never watching another Abrams project again.
I am really hoping that Todd McFarlane buys the rights to make the action figures.
