It’s coming…

Ladies and Gentleman it is now, to this posts date, 5 days until the next 1-18-08 / Cloverfield trailer is released!!
My my how far have we come from the ealy days of July? It’s amazing how 1 trailer can become a national Phenomenon, 2 websites; Slusho and 1-18-08.com, can start a mass of excitement leading to hidden clues and theories. A great number of blogs and forums strictly dedicated to this film. An abundance of fans working day and night to unlock the mystries of 1-18-08. Makes you think wether JJ. Abrams intended it ey?
And now, as the 16th of November approaches, and the paramount blockbuster Beowulf is being prepared to screen. Cloverfield fans around the world wait on the edge of his / her seats in anticipation to see the 2nd so sorely missed trailer.
Most if not all of us have seen the “preview” for the 2nd Cloverfield trailer on chud.com and if it is true (we shall know soon enough) there shall be little monsters, a really big monster and the title; Cloverfield.
So, what do you personally expect / want to see in the trailer? Do you like the idea of little offspring monsters? And most importantly, what do you think this 2nd trailer will do for the cloverfield community, what will the impact be (new sites, slusho ringtone, the 8th slusho oval unlocked e.t.c) ?
Look forward to the trailer & have fun! Will update and keep you posted as the big day comes!

I personally hate this idea of little “parasites,” or raptors, or what have you. I think that if you work that in with the “She’s been infected!” thing, then hypothetically, wouldn’t she turn into a little bugger? That all sounds a little too close to the zombie realm to me, which I would hate to see this movie fall into that chasm of cliched-ness. No doubt, I love zombie movies, but keep them separated from monster flicks. Please. I beg of you, J.J., man who made dreams come true on Lost.
I’ve resisted the temptation to go to CHUD or whatever. I don’t even know what it is, lol. I don’t care if it’s completely legit, I’m waiting for Beowulf, dammit. I’d rather pay to see it on the silver screen then wait for it to load to a crap resolution with buffering and whatnot.
But that’s just me. What are your thoughts? By the way, seeing as I haven’t watches this CHUD person’s upload, so I beg of you all, don’t make any mention of what happens in it. I plan to actually follow this post and it’s comments.
So, just to make it simple for skimmers:
NO SPOILERS, PLEASE.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. :D
Yeah lucky for you Tony in all my posts i write **Spoilers below** unlike some lol. So yeah…If there are any spoilers on a persons comment, i’ll edit the comment to say “spoilers”, just for you lol.
Either that, or in AP class, i’ll read thru the comments and tell ye if its safe ;) lol
Just checking if that gravatar upload thing worked. Nothing to actually say here.
Nope, no luck. Sorry to take up cyberspace.
I just finished setting up a message board dediacted to discussing this movie and related topics.

Just click on “Forum!”
oops! looks like I forgot how to spell “dedicated”
Already headed over there. The force is strong in this one (meaning you’ve got potential, of course), all you need is to grow strong and attract followers (meaning, keep this invite-people-to-it-through-blogs-dedicated-to-cloverfield thing up).
Goddamn, if they DO have the concept of “little parasites” in the film, then they better be pretty damn cool parasites because I was hoping the film would center around just ONE monster, not other little monsters that chase the people around like that one british lady who gets chased by the police and frantic, happy music starts playing in the background while they all run really, really, fast. Is it Nancy, that I’m talking about?
Anyways, I hope the trailer focuses on the huge monster, and you see the monster through certain parts of the film.
It’s just, when the guy says, “I couldn’t see what the monster was…but whatever it was, it was pretty damn huge.” that just…damn, gave me the chills, dude.
BTW, I will be uploading a Cloverfield monster concept of my own, at my deviantart page: http://www.pr0lifix.deviantart.com

I just read on cloverfieldclues.com that another webpage confirmed the trailer to be played before Beowulf. It also said multiple monsters. Dammit.
Man, we need to leak some more information. :P

its bad quality, and a bit choppy… people say we should see a HD version on APPLE.com by Monday (but check it out in Beowulf this weekend, even in IMAX!)
