The new Bold Futura website?

Edit: Has been reported as fake! Our fellow member Dennis has reported the template used on the website: http://www.templatemonster.com/flash-templates/14416.html. SORRY EVERYONE!!
The noted www.tagruato.jp subsidarie: Bold Futura, now has an updated website! The Bold Futura website said to be “fake” just a couple of weeks ago due to spelling and grammar errors has now changed completely!
The previous Bold Futura website had a schedule that went like this:
1) Website was created with grammatical and spelling errors.
2) Website was taken down, “under construction”. Cloverfield fans noted the spelling and grammar errors. This point being the start of “fake website” topics.
3) Website reappeared without spelling or grammar errors. Cloverfield fans at www.1-18-08news.com/forum theorized one of their own created the website and was “watching” there forums.
4) Website was taken down again
5) Website has now again reappeared totally reformatted, looking a lot more professional. We are still investigating the website. Any new news will be posted surely in the near future.
6) Website has yet again been proven a fake. Props to our own member Dennis for providing this link of the template used, http://www.templatemonster.com/flash-templates/14416.html.
7) Website has been taken down AGAIN!! Can you find the next template they will use? lol.
8) It is now the 7th of November, 2007, and the website is infact BACK UP. A sci-fi template, fairly sloppy, LOTS OF IMAGES!
9) 10/11/07. BoldFutura is now a blank page. Not even a “under contruction” sign :)

i say its legit, but it may have been rushed.
if its not his, than he may want the domain, and im sure whoever made it would be making a sweet penny… lol

is there any kind of copyright infrindgement by making these fake sites?
It can’t really be copyright infringement if it is not a real company. AFAIK, the only “company” name that is trademarked is Slusho!
If they wanted to make a Bold Futura site (or YMR or Paraffun), they would have registered the domains before they put up the Tagruato site.

I was expecting to see more of BoldFutura… hoping they’d give a better picture of whats going on down there under water…
Who knows… I’m sure they will probably put up a new site next weekend. Maybe they are taking requests :)

^ Agreed. I know they are trying to keep the mystery going but as ARGs go this seems to have failed. I mean we are less than 2 months away and they really haven’t given us anything. My initial excitement has long worn away and I need something that will get me going again. I mean I’m more excited for I Am Legend right now.
The new 1-18-08 trailer has been announced to be put before the showing of Beowulf! hopefully after this trailer…new sites will be unlocked!

I think I’ll see Beowulf regardless (like Dennis was saying) and if theres a new trailer, Yay!

I mentioned before that if we get bored with it, the power he had over us is lost [no pun intended], and we potentially stop caring…
yet I still find myself coming here everyday to see updates…
and we’re all going to see the movie in January… i mean, look how many people went to see SAW… and that sucked… so im sure this movie will do fine… lol
I doubt Bold Futura willl ever get a legit site. Nor will ParafFun (sp?). Nor will YMR. If they were meant to, they would have gotten it in Tagruato’s website. There’s stilll hope on Slusho’s site, what with the “We are coming, we’ll find you soon!” (which, btw, creeped me out. But then, I’m paranoid, so). I’d check it out right now, but
I’m on a crappy Mac at school without the plugins for flash player.
In a best-case scenario, The Bold Futura site is down because JJ found out, and they’re buying them out and redesigning. But we all know that’s not going to happen.

well if you put it like this, if this was a spielberg projecteverybody would be all over it, there would be sites everywhere, but since its abrams, its not as popular as he thought it would be, its no longer the topic of discussions, people are getting bored, people plainly just dont care anymore like for real. He is starting to lose this project and if he doesnt do something amazing real fast, cloverfield may be the worst box office movie in history

yea I read that on aint it cool a while ago too its not anything new, somebody probably just made it up to seem like its real
you know, i was really hopin that after not bein around for 5 or 6 days, something interesting would have come up…or, just another reason to stick a needle into my abbrams doll…
